UP Yoddha Aim To Maintain Winning Ways Against Puneri Paltans


Bengaluru: UP Yoddha, the GMR group owned PKL franchise, is aiming to continue their winning ways against Puneri Paltan on 17th January 2022. UP Yoddha, placed 4th in the league standings with 28 points, will be going up against Puneri Paltan who are placed at 10th with 21 points to their kitty.
Both teams have faced tough opponents and will be going into this match to get a win. The match will be broadcasted LIVE on Star Sports Network and Hotstar 8:30 PM (IST) onwards. UP Yoddha and Puneri Paltans have faced each other 5 times so far out of which the Yoddhas got the better of the Paltans on three occasions and lost to them twice. 
The last time the two sides met, Yoddhas got the better of Puneri Paltans in a 43-39 encounter at the Shahid Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex. The Yoddhas will be riding on the back of a 39-33 win over Telugu Titans while Puneri Paltan will be coming after a 23-42 win against U Mumba.

The boys know how important this match is for us and are ready to give their best to get us the win.” The UP Yoddha star, Pardeep Narwal displayed a solid performance against Telugu Titans, earning 10 points for his side along with able support from Srikant Jadav, Surender Gill & Captain Nitesh Kumar who added to the team’s tally earning 7 points each. 
The match is expected to be an exciting one as both sides will be looking to maintain their winning momentum and finish the match with 5 points to their names.
